Here at Shindig we have a whole host of fabulous promoters, and we thought we’d take this opportunity to introduce you to one of our newest…Friends of Pitmaston School.

Jo Wilson is the lovely promoter in charge of spreading the word to everyone in and around Pitmaston Primary School. The primary school based in the St. Johns’ area of Worcester and has plenty going on, especially when it comes to the Friends of Pitmaston, offering a range of events to raise money to provide additional funding for the school and bring the community together.

They are starting their season on Friday 5th October with a lively barn dance in the company of Ceilidhography and hoping to get the parents and friends of Pitmaston Primary, and the local community, tapping their toes and dancing to this funked up ceilidh band.

This will be followed by a family friendly Shindig performance of Farmer Scrooge’s Christmas Carol by Badapple Theatre Company on Sunday 9th December at 2pm – a great event to get everyone in the festive mood.

If you’re interested in attending an event at Pitmaston School please contact Jo on 07855 200950

We hope you’ll join us in giving Jo a big warm welcome to Shindig.
