Can’t decide which shows to attend? The office team reveal what they’re most looking forward to this season…
Suzanne our Administration and Marketing Assistant chose Kel Elliott and Richard Durrant: “I am most looking forward to the beautifully soulful Kel Elliott and the fabulous virtuoso guitarist Richard Durrant – with fantastic musicianship and infectious grooves, what’s not to like?”
Sally our Company Administrator is looking forward to seeing New Budapest Cafe Orchestra: “Because I’m always keen to see bands with gypsy influences. Especially featuring my favourite instrument the accordian. I’m expecting good foot stomping dance tunes as well as some heart rending folk songs.”
Emma our Development Officer chose Kel Elliott: “I am really looking forward to seeing Kel Elliott; I have listened to their CD on repeat in my car and Kel has an amazing voice. I’ve heard great things about their live performances too.”
Sarah our Marketing Officer’s top pick is Holmes and Watson: The Farewell Tour by Angus & Ross: “I’m looking forward to an evening of mystery and mirth in this spoof-style Sherlock Holmes. The cast of two are set to take on a whole host of colourful characters and I can’t wait to see how they are going to pull it off!”
Carly our Administration Assistant is looking forward to seeing TG Collective: “I saw TG Collective this year at the Mostly Jazz Festival in Moseley, Birmingham. Their blend of latin, jazz and gypsy really captivated the audience, and I’m looking forward to seeing them again, in a more intimate environment. Highly recommended!”
Vicki, our Derbyshire Fieldworker chose Boon Song – A Windy Tale by Moby Duck: “My family are big fans of Moby Duck Theatre Company and looking forward to this latest production. It’s bound to reduce my grandchildren to uncontrollable laughter. But I must remember not to give them beans for tea – I’m sure there’ll be no need for additional sound effects!”
