Getting to know you

Since January the Live & Local team have been busy exploring Worcestershire, meeting lots of lovely Promoters and seeing some fabulous shows.

We have seen an upbeat, toe tapping performance by Baltic Crossing at the Fold Eco Cafe in Bransford, an uplifting and inventive performance of Nursing Lives by Vamos Theatre at St Michael’s, a thrilling weave of music and storytelling by the Devil’s Violin Company at Little Witley, a high energy performance by The Atlantics at Headless Cross and many more.

It has been a real pleasure getting out to new venues and meeting promoters and their communities. They have all been so kind and welcoming and we’re really enjoying getting to know everyone. It is clearly evident how much the Shindig Promoters value the scheme and how important these performances are to their communities.

Live & Local is a not-for-profit arts organisation working across Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire. We support a network of voluntary organisations that bring communities together to enjoy high quality, affordable and professional live performances and film screenings.
